Sôgwipo (Seogwipo)

Seogwipo is located in southern Jeju-do, Korea's largest island at the southern tip of the Peninsula.

Beneath the main peak of Mt. Halla lie numerous tourist attractions ranging from mountains, valleys and falls, to beaches, island and the emerald sea. This natural beauty, coupled with mild temperatures all year round, make the island a favorite destination for tourists from the mainland as well as overseas. Jeju-do retains a unique island culture full of myths and folk tales.

Seogwipo has an industrial structure led by tertiary industry such as tourism and is the sole producer of tropical fruits such as tangerines in Korea. Jeju-do has also been the site for the highest-level summits between Korean and foreign national leaders.

Now all citizens of Seogwipo are making concerted efforts to welcome visitors from the international football family with friendly smiles, hospitality, order and etiquette.
